Ars Pori Megastore<\/a><\/strong> on kuusi viikkoa kest\u00e4v\u00e4 taiden\u00e4yttelyiden ja tapahtumien kokonaisuus, joka tuo kulttuuria ja kuvataidetta Porin keskustan syd\u00e4meen. Syyskuun lopussa Porin p\u00e4iv\u00e4st\u00e4 25.9. alkaen ydinkeskustassa sijaitseva Isokarhun ostoskeskus toimii n\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00f6n\u00e4 lukuisille taiteilijoille ja heid\u00e4n teoksilleen. Tyhjiin tiloihin syntyy taiden\u00e4yttelyit\u00e4 ja installaatioita sek\u00e4 yhteis\u00f6llinen tila, jossa koronarajoitusten hellitt\u00e4ess\u00e4 ihmiset voivat kohdata toisensa. Ihmiset voivat tulla kokemaan taidetta ja tapahtumia elektronisen musiikin iltaklubeista ja live-keikoista performanssitaiteeseen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflections<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muistin, muistamisen ja identiteetin teemoja k\u00e4sittelev\u00e4 mediainstallaatio l\u00e4hestyy kohdettaan vuorovaikutuksen, havaintojen ja kokemisen kautta. Installaatiossa s\u00e4\u00e4nt\u00f6jen ja satunnaisuuden luomien algoritmisten muotojen ja maisemien keski\u00f6ss\u00e4 olemme itse katsojina ja vaikuttajina.
Muutoksen ja hetkellisyyden tilassa kokemuksen \u00e4\u00e4riviivat ovat toistuvassa liikkeess\u00e4. Teos muistuttaa, ett\u00e4 ihmiset ovat aina lukittuina subjektiivisen kokemukseensa, mink\u00e4 lopputuloksena on usein toistuvia virheit\u00e4 ja v\u00e4\u00e4ri\u00e4 valintoja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflections is an installation that approaches its themes of memory, recollection and identity from the perspective of interaction, perception and experience. In the installation, we find ourselves at the center of algorithmic shapes and landscapes as both viewers and influencers.
The work questions the building blocks and narratives we use to construct our identity while everything is in a constant state of flux. The outlines of our experience are perpetually reshaped by chance, change and momentariness. The work reminds us that people are always locked in their subjective experience of the world, which results in repeated fallacies and erroneous choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digital Rebirth<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teos tarkastelee digitaalisen ja fyysisen muodon ulottuvuuksia. Digital Rebirth sai alkunsa Tea S\u00f6derlundin vuonna 2012 valmistaman teoksen fotogrammetria-tekniikalla tehdyst\u00e4 3d-mallista. Alkuper\u00e4isen teoksen identiteetin teemat saivat uuden n\u00e4k\u00f6kulman, ja samalla teoksen digitaalinen versio paljasti liikkeess\u00e4 syntyv\u00e4n visuaalisen harhan, jonka vuoksi katsojan on vaikea tulkita, mihin suuntaan animoitu 3d-malli kiertyy. Digital Rebirth is an installation that explores the connections between and within the physical and digital dimensions. The piece was conceived by constructing a 3D model, using photogrammetry, from a relief by Tea S\u00f6derlund, originally from 2012. The digital version added new layers to the original work\u2019s themes of identity, and revealed a visual illusion that makes it difficult for the viewer to discern which way the form is rotating.
